Hi,

I just wanted to tell everyone that I just started another blog on another website. My url there is http://kaelance.livejournal.com/ Don't worry I'm still going to keep this one updated as well. I thought that it wouldn't hurt to publish in both places. I'm not getting any younger :)

The past few days

Sunday my washer decided that it was going to flood my laundry room. The whole room had about an inch of water and it was going through the back door. Good thing I was home. *quiet laugh* My landlord look at it and said that it was the machine and that he wasn't in the appliance business anymore. Meaning that since so many past tenants stole appliances that he no longer supplies them. So now I'm doing laundry at my relatives houses. Today I called my mom just to talk and she said that my landlord is probably mad because I paid my rent late, which I did. But I had to. Now I feel sad when earlier I was soo happy. My mom has a way of doing that :( My grandpa said that he would help me pay for a new one. Gosh, I wish that I made more money.

This morning I woke up at about 5:30 by moonlight. It was really bright, sort've like a spotlight. When I left for work a little after 6 the moon was twice the size it was when I first woke up and just as bright. I wish that I had a digital camera so I could upload a picture. It was so beautiful!

Yes! The weekend is finally here.

Friday

OMG, I'm so happy that it's the weekend. I work from 6:30 am till 6:30 pm, which means that I don't get home until 7pm. I'm looking forward to catching up on sleep and working. I think the only errand I have to do is make a deposit, to cover my rent that I payed yesterday.
This week went by smoothly. I got daisy's from my secret admirer. He's been at it for awhile. I don't have the faintest idea who it is. It gives me hope that I won't die alone. Oh, funny story that happened yesterday.
I was dropping the kids off at school, I do daycare, and my fuel light came on. Everywhere now it’s prepay due to drive offs. STUPID people don't you know that if you drive off without paying it'll only make the prices go up! (Grrrrr) Anyway, I tried to prepay with my debit card, but I shouldn’t get the reader to read my cared. Boy, I was starting to get mad. Then I looked at the directions better. I was inserting my card the wrong way, lol! Before you think of me as a retard, my regular station have you insert your cards the opposite way.

Saturday Morning
Dang! I woke up early this morning, 7am. I thought that I would be able to catch some cartons. When I was little all channels started cartoon at this time, I don't have cable. Only one channel had cartoons on, all the others had either info-mercials or news. I'm glad I'm not a kid today, I'd drive my parents crazy! Hahahaha.

Celebrity Children's books

This is a great banner that I swiped from my instructor. I personally have never bought a book written by a celebrity for my daycare and never will. Why you might be asking. The publisher just wants the celebrity's name.

Most are written by ghost writers. Dictionary definition of a ghostwriter is a professional writer who is paid to write books, articles, stories, or reports which are officially credited to another person. The other is that they actually do write the books themselves, but two things usually happens.
1.) The editor and/ or publisher request changes to the manuscript and the celbrity refuses.
2.) The editor and/ or publisher is too imtimidated to request changes and publishes it anyway.

Kids deserve to have well written books. Make sure you read the synopsis so you know if it fists your kid's interest or not. The only celebrity books that I would recommend are the ones written by Jamie Lee Curtis. They are imaginative and relate to topics that kids are interested in.

Hi,

Welcome to my new blog, I also have a blog on my myspace page that I will also keep updated. My myspace url is http://www.myspace.com/krystalkaelance and I have a blog on blogger in case you want to visit.

I'm twenty four and last February I graduated from the Institute of Children's Literature. I had an awesome instructor, Jill Esbaum, feel free to look her up. I was published in the spring 2007 edition of Events Quarterly. I'm working on another project but it's taking longer than expected. I'm a huge procrastinator, one of my flaws that annoys me so much.

Currently I'm single, my last relationship, I decided that I won't get into that. LONG STORY!!!!!!! Feel free to comment and read anytime.
